What the job is

This is a Receptionist position at Sun International, a well-known hospitality company. The job is based in Polokwane, Limpopo. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring they have a warm, professional, and smooth experience from the moment they arrive until they leave.

What you will do

You will welcome guests and handle their check-in and check-out processes. You will manage front-desk tasks such as taking reservations, updating guest information, and processing payments. You will also answer guest questions, provide information about hotel services, and handle special requests. Additionally, you will resolve guest complaints, follow financial and safety procedures, and keep the reception area clean and organized.

What you need

You must have a Matric (Grade 12) certificate. At least one year of experience working as a receptionist in a hotel or hospitality environment is required. You should have experience with guest interactions, reservations, billing, and cash handling. Knowledge of the Opera Property Management System is a plus. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team are essential.
