What the job is

This is a permanent position for a Quality Assurance Officer (Occurrence Management) at Eskom, a leading company in the electricity, energy, and water supply industry. The job is based in Ermelo, Mpumalanga, and focuses on supporting quality management systems and supplier quality requirements within the Risk & Assurance department.

What you will do

You will ensure quality management processes are followed and improved. You will conduct quality measurements, analysis, and improvements to maintain high standards. You will provide support for audit management and carry out supplier quality management activities. Additionally, you will prepare and provide quality reports to relevant teams and stakeholders.

What you need

You must have a National Diploma in Quality Management, Engineering, Auditing, Information Technology, Built Environment, Logistics Management, or Supply Chain Management (NQF Level 6 with 240 credits). You need at least 3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably with exposure to ISO 9001 standards in a relevant environment such as a power station or project. Strong knowledge of South African National Standards (SANS), ISO standards, site quality management practices, and industry-specific codes is required. You should also demonstrate trustworthiness, professionalism, honesty, integrity, and the ability to work as part of a team.
