What the job is

This is a permanent position for a Quality Assurance Officer (Occurrence Management) at Eskom, a leading company in the electricity, energy, and water supply industry. The job is based in Ermelo, Mpumalanga, and focuses on supporting quality management systems and supplier quality requirements within the Risk & Assurance department.

What you will do

You will ensure quality management processes are followed and conduct quality measurements, analysis, and improvements. You will also provide audit management support and handle supplier quality management activities. Additionally, you will prepare and provide quality reports to relevant teams and stakeholders.

What you need

You must have a National Diploma in Quality Management, Engineering, Auditing, Information Technology, Built Environment, Logistics Management, or Supply Chain Management at NQF6 with 240 credits. You need at least 3 years of quality assurance experience with exposure to ISO 9001 standards in a relevant environment such as a power station or project. Strong knowledge of South African National Standards (SANS), ISO standards, and industry-specific codes is required. You should also demonstrate trustworthiness, professionalism, honesty, and integrity.
