What the job is

This is a full-time position for a Provincial Logistics Officer at the Democratic Alliance in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The role involves supporting the Provincial Office with various administrative and logistical tasks to ensure smooth operations.

What you will do

You will provide support to the Provincial Office by managing branding, maintaining and recording office assets, distributing posters and pamphlets, and ensuring the office premises are well-maintained. You will also handle procurement tasks. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving and maintaining all motor vehicles owned by the Democratic Alliance in KwaZulu-Natal.

What you need

To qualify, you must have a National Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification. You need at least 3 years of experience in a logistics role and a good understanding of the geographical layout of KwaZulu-Natal. Computer literacy, especially in using the MS Office Suite, is required. You must also have a valid driver’s licence with a Professional Driving Permit and access to a vehicle for business use. Strong written and verbal communication skills, time management, coordination, and attention to detail are essential. You should be able to work under pressure, produce high-quality work, and be committed to the principles and policies of the Democratic Alliance.
