What you will do

You will be responsible for scheduling outages for power system equipment to ensure smooth operations. You will execute design work and contribute to maintaining the integrity of the asset base. Additionally, you will deliver standardized outputs, perform technical studies, and provide consulting on engineering-related issues. The role requires close coordination to ensure optimal technical solutions and asset care.

What you need

To qualify, you must have a BSc Engineering or B Eng degree in Engineering at NQF level 8 with 480 credits. You must also be registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a Candidate Engineer. A minimum of 2 years of technical experience in engineering-related technologies is required. Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential, along with knowledge of power plant systems, design codes, and engineering theory.
