This job is for a Product Owner at Pedros, a well-known restaurant company. You will be based in Newlands East, KwaZulu-Natal. The role involves managing and improving technology products like digital ordering, kiosks, loyalty programs, and POS systems. Your work will support stores, operations, and finance teams by ensuring technology meets their needs.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the backlog for Pedros’ technology products, ensuring tasks are clearly defined, estimated, and prioritized.
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and franchise partners to translate ideas into actionable tasks.
- Work with technical teams, vendors (e.g., Micros, Datasmith), and business partners to plan and deliver features, updates, and fixes.
- Organize testing sessions and coordinate vendor requirements, problem-solving, and change management.
- Track product usage, gather feedback, and refine future plans.
- Oversee successful rollouts of new features, including training materials and store manager support.
- Report on product performance and address issues.

Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in technology, retail, or QSR.
- Proficiency in agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and task management tools.
- Ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Familiarity with POS systems, digital ordering, payments, or integrations (e.g., Micros Simphony, loyalty systems).
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Comfort with data tools (basic SQL) and AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) for requirements, analysis, and documentation.
