Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for a qualified Pharmacist Assistant (Post Basic Qualified) to work at their store in Mokala Mall, Kuruman. This is a permanent position where you will help patients with their medication needs while working under the supervision of a pharmacist. The role involves both pharmacy and customer service tasks in a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with prescriptions and medicines, including reading, checking, and dispensing medications.
- Explain proper medication usage to patients.
- Provide customer service at the dispensary counter, self-medication section, and front shop.
- Handle medical aid claims and follow up on prescriptions.
- Manage stock control and report low stock levels.
- Process paperwork for medical aid claims and maintain customer records.
- Ensure the pharmacy area is clean, tidy, and adheres to Dis-Chem standards.

Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate and Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant qualification.
- Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
- Experience in retail or FMCG is advantageous.
- Knowledge of systems like SAP, E-Scripting, or Unisolv is a plus.
- Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Physically fit for standing long periods.
- Valid driver’s license, clear criminal and credit records preferred.
- Ability to speak a third language is advantageous.
