Dis-Chem Pharmacies at Northridge Mall in Bloemfontein is looking for a Dispensary Support Assistant. This role is designed for learners who want to complete the basic pharmacist assistant course. The position is part-time and temporary until qualification and registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) as a learner basic assistant. Once qualified, permanent employment may be offered.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in selling medicines under pharmacist supervision, including Schedule 1 medicines
- Prepare and pack medicines according to approved instructions
- Unpack, organize stock, and maintain cleanliness
- Read and verify prescriptions, manage stock levels, and assist with patient follow-ups
- Handle phone calls, provide health information, and authorize chronic/HIV/oncology medications
- Receive and check stock, assist with call center scripts, and promote health information

Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) with 50% in Pure Mathematics/Life Science/Physical Science and 50% overall average
- Pass proficiency test for SAPC registration
- Good communication skills in English and another language
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work under pressure
- Team player with honesty, trustworthiness, and customer service skills
- Computer and numerical skills preferred
- South African citizenship with valid ID, clean criminal record, and good credit record
