What you will do

You will process employee salaries, including earnings and deductions, using the payroll system. You will reconcile time and attendance records to ensure accurate hours worked are captured. You will verify and process monthly payroll data, including deductions and benefits contributions. You will handle new employee setups, terminations, and monthly incentive payments. You will also generate payroll reports for management and finance, submit tax reports like EMP201 and EMP501, and maintain up-to-date employee records. Additionally, you will address employee payroll queries and work with HR to resolve discrepancies.

What you need

You need a Diploma in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. You must have at least 2 years of experience as a Payroll Officer. Experience with Sage 300 People payroll processing, tax submissions (EMP201 and EMP501), and benefits processing is required. You should also have strong knowledge of payroll and tax regulations, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and experience with time and attendance systems.
