What the job is

This is a Partner Relationship Manager role at Confluent, the company behind DebtBusters and JustMoney, based in Pinelands, Cape Town. Confluent helps South Africans manage their finances better. They are looking for someone to join their Partnerships Team and handle key relationships with their business partners.

What you will do

You will be the main contact for a group of important partners, building strong and trusting relationships with them. You will solve any problems or questions they have quickly and effectively. You will track how well each partnership is doing, manage costs, and report on performance to both partners and internal teams. You will also look for new ways to grow existing partnerships and develop new ones, working with internal teams to bring new partners on board.

What you need

You need a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. You should have 3 to 5 years of experience in partner management, account management, or business development, preferably in financial services. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are important, as well as the ability to use data to make decisions. You must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have a basic understanding of technical integrations. Personal qualities like being proactive, self-motivated, reliable, and having excellent communication skills are essential.
