What the job is

This is a position for a New Vehicle Sales Manager at Motus Corporation in Centurion, Pretoria, Gauteng. The role involves leading the new car sales team at a multifranchise dealership, ensuring sales targets are met and customers are satisfied.

What you will do

You will manage and lead the new car sales team to maximize sales and profitability. You will ensure the dealership meets its sales targets and forecasts by developing effective sales strategies and maintaining customer satisfaction. You will oversee vehicle stock levels, pricing policies, and discounts to keep the dealership profitable. You will also handle customer complaints, ensure vehicles are delivered to quality and safety standards, and monitor the financial performance of the sales department weekly. Additionally, you will train sales executives on new model launches and manage staffing and training needs.

What you need

You need at least 5 years of experience in vehicle sales within the motor industry, with a strong background in new car sales. Experience in sales management, leading teams, and setting pricing is essential. A Senior Certificate (Grade 12) is required, and a tertiary qualification in sales, marketing, or business management is a plus. You must have a valid, unendorsed driver’s license, computer literacy in MS Office and dealer systems, and knowledge of dealership policies and industry competition.
