What the job is

This is a position for a New Vehicle Sales Manager at Motus Corporation, specifically for the Multifranchise Zambezi dealership. The role is based in Pretoria, Gauteng. The job involves leading the new car sales team and ensuring the dealership meets its sales and profitability goals while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

What you will do

You will manage and lead the new car sales team to achieve sales targets and forecasts. You will develop and maintain the sales organization to meet profitability objectives. You will ensure the dealership has the right stock of vehicles and that pricing, discounts, and trade-in deals are set to maximize profits. You will monitor the sales department’s financial performance weekly and handle customer complaints promptly. You will also ensure vehicles are delivered according to manufacturer quality and safety standards and that sales executives receive proper training on new models.

What you need

You need at least 5 years of experience in vehicle sales, with a strong background in new car sales. Experience in managing and motivating a sales team is preferred. You must have a valid, unendorsed driver’s license and be computer literate, especially with MS Office and dealer management systems. A Senior Certificate (Grade 12) is required, and a tertiary qualification in sales, marketing, or business management is an advantage. Knowledge of OEM target management and the competitive motor industry is beneficial.
