What the job is

This is a contract position for a .NET Tech Lead at iOCO, a company specializing in technology and software solutions. The role is fully remote, meaning you can work from anywhere in South Africa. You will be part of the DevX division, focusing on projects for Toyota and other clients in the IT industry.

What you will do

You will lead a team of software engineers in developing applications using .NET and Angular. Your responsibilities include setting coding and testing standards, working with business analysts to translate requirements into technical tasks, and managing project timelines and goals. You will also oversee documentation, support production migrations, and troubleshoot technical issues. Additionally, you will assist the Scrum Master with sprint planning, backlog grooming, and reporting on progress. Mentoring team members and reviewing their work will also be part of your role.

What you need

You must have at least 7 years of development experience, with 2 years in a technical leadership role. Strong skills in Angular (version 6 or higher), C#.NET, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and SQL Server or other relational databases are required. Experience with Azure cloud services is also essential. A relevant IT degree, diploma, or equivalent work experience is necessary.
