What the job is

This is a permanent position for a Middle Manager specializing in Key Account Customer service at Eskom, a leading company in electricity, energy, and water supply. The job is based in Sunninghill, Gauteng, at Megawatt Park. The role involves managing and directing the regional key customer service function to balance Eskom’s interests with the needs of important customers.

What you will do

You will optimize the operation of the key customer function in the operating unit. You will manage relationships with both internal and external key customer stakeholders. You will integrate and direct the function within the operating unit and handle its strategic positioning. Additionally, you will manage customer load during system constraint conditions.

What you need

You need a Bachelor’s Degree, B Tech, National Higher Diploma, or Advanced Diploma in Business Management, Marketing, Commerce, Finance, or Electrical Engineering (NQF Level 7 with 360 credits). You must have at least 7 years of experience in customer relations, business processes, and service level agreements. Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential. Knowledge of Eskom policies, contracts, and commercial processes is also required.
