What the job is

This is a permanent position for a Middle Manager in Financial Systems at Eskom, a leading company in the electricity, energy, and water supply industry. The job is based in Sunninghill, Gauteng, and focuses on ensuring the integrity of financial systems while leading improvements and automation to make financial transactions and reporting more efficient.

What you will do

You will consult and advise on financial and reporting systems. You will lead and manage the system closure process, ensuring everything runs smoothly. You will also oversee business reporting, budgeting, and forecasting from a systems perspective. Additionally, you will manage investment controls for the organization and handle resources effectively.

What you need

You need a Bachelor’s Degree, B Tech, National Higher Diploma, or Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Management Accounting, Finance, or Business Information Systems. You must have at least 7 years of experience in financial and/or management reporting systems, with a strong background in ERP systems, preferably SAP and SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC). Experience in Business Intelligence (BI) and Business Warehouse (BW) reporting is also required.
