What the job is: This is a Loans Consultant position at Unifi, a company providing simple and fast personal loans in Zambia, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, and Tanzania. The role is based in Lusaka, Zambia, involving client assistance through online, mobile, and branch services. What you will do: As a Loans Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for clients visiting the branch. Your responsibilities include welcoming clients, guiding them through the loan process, explaining loan products honestly, and ensuring accurate collection of client details and paperwork. You will handle cash, client information, and records with care, following Unifi’s rules to prevent fraud. You will also support collections by following up with clients and helping them repay loans. Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming branch environment is essential. Additionally, you will represent Unifi in the community and suggest practical solutions to improve processes.

What you need: To succeed, you should have a certificate, diploma, or degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. At least one year of experience in a customer-facing, sales, or retail job is preferred. Strong communication skills in English and a client-first mindset are required. You must stay calm, patient, and organized, with a strong work ethic to meet targets.
