Managed People Solutions is offering an internship opportunity for young, unemployed, and ambitious TVET students who have completed their N6 Certificate and need workplace experience to qualify for their N6 Diploma. This internship is specifically for candidates based in Parys, Free State. The role is designed to provide hands-on experience in merchandising while working in the wine and spirits industry.

As a Junior Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring products are displayed correctly in stores. Your tasks will include checking stock levels and quality, making sure price tags are accurate, and keeping shelves organized. You will also follow a set merchandising schedule, report any customer complaints or issues, and provide updates on product promotions. Additionally, you will record your activities, make phone calls as part of your duties, and inform your supervisor about any products that are out of stock.

To qualify for this internship, you must be under 28 years old and have completed your N6 TVET Certificate in one of the following fields: Management Assistant, Business Management, or Marketing Management. No prior work experience in merchandising is required, but you should be eager to learn and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.

This internship offers a monthly stipend of R3,500 for the duration of the 18-month program.
