This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Merchandiser Intern to join a team in the liquor and retail industry based in Durbanville, Western Cape. As a Junior Merchandiser Intern, your main tasks will include checking and organizing stock to ensure stores have the right products available. You will inspect items for quality, ensure prices are correct, and arrange products according to company standards. You will also keep track of stock levels, report any issues to your manager, and ensure promotions and new products are displayed properly. Another important part of the job is visiting stores as part of a set schedule to check on stock and report any problems to the Regional Sales Manager.

To apply for this internship, you must be under 28 years old, currently unemployed, and not have completed a similar internship before. The most important qualification is an N6 Certificate in either Marketing Management or Business Management. Attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work well in a team are also important.

You will earn a monthly stipend of R3,500 for this 18-month internship. The role involves working 9 hours a day, including a lunch break. This is a great chance to gain real-world experience in the retail industry while learning from professionals in the field.
