This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Merchandiser Intern to join a team in the liquor and retail industry. Managed People Solutions is looking for someone energetic, reliable, and detail-focused to work in Goodwood, Western Cape. If you enjoy creating attractive product displays and want hands-on experience with top brands in retail stores, this internship could be perfect for you.

As a Junior Merchandiser Intern, you will play a key role in keeping stores well-stocked and visually appealing. You will check which products need to be displayed and ensure the right stock is available in-store. Your tasks will include inspecting product quality, ensuring prices are correct, and arranging products according to company standards. You will also report any customer issues or requests to the team and keep detailed records of your work. Another important part of the job is monitoring out-of-stock items and updating the Regional Sales Manager about them. You will stay updated on promotions and follow a set schedule for visiting stores.

To qualify for this internship, you must be under 28 years old, currently unemployed, and not have done a similar internship before. You need to have completed an N6 Certificate in either Marketing Management or Business Management. The role requires someone who is organized, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and pays attention to detail. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently are also important.

This internship offers a monthly stipend of R3,500. The contract lasts for 18 months as part of the TVET N6 program. You will work 9 hours a day, including a lunch break.
