This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Merchandiser Intern to join a team in the liquor and retail industry based in Bloemfontein, Free State. The role is perfect for someone who is energetic, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and wants to gain practical experience in creating attractive product displays for leading brands in stores.

As a Junior Merchandiser Intern, you will be responsible for ensuring products are displayed correctly and attractively in stores. You will check stock levels to ensure the right products are available and in good condition, including verifying product quality, pricing, and rotation to meet company standards. You will also set up products according to guidelines and report any issues or requests from customers to the management team.

You will keep detailed records of merchandising activities and monitor stock levels to report out-of-stock items to your supervisor. Staying updated on product knowledge and promotions is also part of your role. Additionally, you will visit stores as part of a scheduled call cycle and inform the Regional Sales Manager about any products that are not available.

To qualify for this internship, you must be under 28 years old, currently unemployed, and not have participated in a similar internship before. You need to have completed an N6 Certificate in either Marketing Management or Business Management. Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team are important skills for this role.

This internship offers a monthly stipend of R3,500. The contract lasts for 18 months as part of the TVET N6 program. You will work 9 hours per day, including a lunch break.
