Assmang is looking for a skilled and experienced Instrumentation Mechanician to join their team at the Black Rock Mine Operations, located about 80 kilometers northwest of Kuruman in the Northern Cape. The role focuses on maintaining, repairing, and installing instrumentation equipment and power supply units, following planned maintenance schedules and fixing breakdowns. Responsibilities include checking and calibrating control gear, completing daily inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards. Applicants must have a Grade 12 certificate, a trade certificate as an Instrumentation Mechanician, at least 3 years of experience in an automated process environment, a valid driver’s license (Code B), and a Dover B Symbol. Basic computer skills and the ability to read technical instructions are required.
