What the job is: This job is for a Head of Agency at Badger Holdings, based in George, Western Cape. You will lead Honeyguide, an internal marketing agency supporting multiple brands within the company. The role is permanent and requires on-site work, with relocation to George mandatory. This is a senior leadership position with full responsibility for the agency’s success, growth, and financial performance.

What you will do: Run Honeyguide as a standalone business unit, managing its P&L, budgets, costs, and financial results. Design and implement a scalable operating model covering services, pricing, workflows, and team resourcing. Improve efficiency, utilization, and profit margins. Develop and execute a growth strategy aligned with company goals, expanding services across brands, reducing duplication, and driving revenue growth. Work closely with executive leadership to ensure marketing delivers measurable results like brand health, customer acquisition, and retention. Manage brand relationships, engagement models, and service standards. Oversee high-quality marketing campaigns aligned with brand consistency and commercial goals. Integrate digital, data, and AI tools for performance measurement, campaign optimization, and real-time insights. Build and lead a high-performing team with clear roles, career paths, and a culture of accountability and creativity.

What you need: A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, commerce, or a related field. Extensive senior leadership experience in a marketing agency or similar environment, with proven P&L ownership and commercial accountability. Experience building or scaling teams, operating models, and structures in complex organizations. Strong experience in data-driven marketing, digital channels, and performance marketing. Ability to work cross-functionally with commercial, product, technology, and data teams. Postgraduate qualification or experience leading transformations or building internal agencies is advantageous.
