What the job is

This is a full-time position for a General Maintenance, Admin, and Driver role at Badger Holdings in George, Western Cape. The job involves keeping the company’s buildings, outdoor areas, and facilities in good working order, as well as providing driving support when needed. It is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys fixing, maintaining, and improving workspaces.

What you will do

You will perform general maintenance tasks such as repairs, painting, plumbing, and carpentry. You will also keep track of tools and materials, maintain clean and safe walkways, parking areas, and storerooms, and move furniture or equipment when required. Additionally, you will assist with setting up spaces for operational needs and manage administrative tasks related to maintenance. When driving is needed, you will transport employees, guests, and materials, complete airport pickups and drop-offs, and ensure company vehicles are clean and roadworthy. You will also maintain accurate records for vehicle use and deliveries.

What you need

You must have experience in general maintenance, gardening, or handyman work, along with a valid South African Code B Driver’s Licence and at least five years of driving experience. A good driving record, basic computer skills, and strong English communication abilities are required. You should be physically fit, able to work independently, and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors. A clear criminal record is also necessary.
