Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited is looking for a Frontline Supervisor to work at their Steeldale store in Alberton, Gauteng. This role is a permanent position where you will help ensure customers have a great shopping experience while supporting the team and managing daily store operations.

As a Frontline Supervisor, your main job will be to help customers and ensure the store runs smoothly. You will work closely with cashiers to ensure they follow correct procedures and handle money accurately. This includes checking customer transactions, managing cash registers, and processing payments like cash, cards, vouchers, and coupons. You will handle customer complaints, manage checkout lines, and oversee refunds, returns, and special requests. You will also ensure proper documentation of receipts and registers, and train new cashiers.

To apply, you need to have completed Matric (Grade 12) with at least 2 years of cashier experience, including 6 months under a Cashier Supervisor. Good math and basic computer skills are required. Willingness to work retail hours (evenings, weekends, holidays) is essential. A computer literacy certificate, 3 years of work experience, or SAP knowledge is advantageous. You must be physically fit, have a valid driver’s license, and own transport.
