What the job is

This is a full-time position for a Financial Advisor at 1Life Insurance, based in Gauteng. You will work as a High Advice Consultant, helping customers understand and choose the best insurance and investment products to meet their financial needs.

What you will do

You will set clear goals for each sales call and tailor presentations to decision-makers. You will ask questions to understand customer needs and provide financial advice based on their unique situation. You will identify and sell products like lump sum or recurring investments that match customer requirements. You will manage your own workflow to meet productivity, quality, and timeliness standards. You will build strong relationships with customers by making calls, developing rapport, and ensuring positive experiences. You will also identify new sales opportunities through referrals and recommendations from existing customers. Additionally, you will follow company policies, regulations, and ethical standards in all your work.

What you need

You must have a Matric certificate or an equivalent SAQA-accredited qualification. You need RE5 certification and 120 FAIS credits at NQF5 level in Wealth Management. A Class of Business (COB) certification is also required. Having 120 FAIS credits at NQF6 level, a CFP, or a relevant finance degree or diploma is an advantage. You must be able to work independently, meet sales and performance targets, and maintain professional accreditation. Strong communication skills, honesty, and the ability to build trust with customers are essential.
