What the job is: This is a graduate trainee position at Fraser Alexander (Pty) Ltd., a company in the mining industry based in Gauteng. The role is designed to help newly qualified graduates grow into skilled finance professionals through hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world experience. You will work closely with the finance team to learn and contribute to key financial processes in the company.

What you will do: You will assist finance managers and accountants with preparing financial reports and other required documents. This includes helping to document finance processes and develop policies to improve operations. You will support the team during month-end and year-end closures by processing transactions and ensuring everything is ready on time.

What you need: To apply, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or something similar. No prior work experience is required, as this is a graduate programme. You should have a basic understanding of accounting principles, including IFRS, and know the basics of VAT. Being detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines is essential.
