Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited, a well-known retail pharmacy company based in Midrand, Gauteng, is looking for a Finance Graduate to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has recently completed their studies in finance or accounting and wants to gain practical experience in a busy retail environment.

As a Finance Graduate at Dis-Chem, you will support the finance team with various tasks to ensure smooth financial operations. Your main responsibilities will include checking and reconciling supplier payments, entering invoices accurately into the system, and following up on outstanding tasks. You will also handle invoices with missing details or price errors, prepare financial journals, complete monthly supplier reconciliations, and organize supplier documents. Daily data entry tasks and approval checks will be part of your role.

To qualify, you must have completed Matric (Grade 12) and hold either a diploma or degree in financial accounting or a related field. No prior work experience is required. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and the ability to analyze financial reports are essential. You must be trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. A second language is an advantage. South African citizenship or a valid work permit, a clean criminal record, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transport are required.
