Luxity, a growing company based in Sandton, Johannesburg, is looking for a creative and driven Content Creator to join their marketing team. They are expanding their marketing efforts beyond digital and want to build a strong in-house team to shape how luxury brands are experienced online in South Africa. If you love creating eye-catching content and have a passion for social media, this could be the perfect role for you.

As the Content Creator, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and managing content across social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. You will develop engaging content that aligns with Luxity’s luxury brand image, using trends, storytelling, and community interaction to keep audiences interested. Your role will also include capturing and editing photos and videos, especially for Reels and TikToks, to bring creative ideas to life from start to finish.

You will work closely with the marketing team to develop campaigns, brainstorm ideas, and ensure all content matches Luxity’s brand voice and style. This includes writing captions, managing comments and messages, and tracking how well content performs. You will also stay updated on the latest trends in social media and digital content to keep Luxity ahead of the curve.

Luxity is looking for someone who is both creative and detail-oriented. You should be comfortable using a smartphone to create high-quality content, including photos and videos, and have experience with editing tools to make your work stand out. Knowledge of design principles and branding is a plus, especially if you’ve used tools like Canva or Adobe. You should also understand what makes content successful on platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels and be able to write engaging captions that match Luxity’s luxury tone.

Strong communication skills are a must, as you will need to collaborate with the team and present your ideas clearly. Being proactive, reliable, and eager to learn new skills will help you thrive in this role. A diploma or equivalent qualification is required, and while prior experience in content creation or social media is helpful, Luxity values ambition and a willingness to grow.

This is a permanent position with a basic monthly salary of R12,000. You will have the chance to work in Sandton City Towers, a prime location known for business and fashion in South Africa. The role offers creative freedom, allowing you to share your ideas and contribute to Luxity’s marketing strategy. You will also receive mentorship from the Head of Marketing and other experienced team members, helping you develop your skills and advance in your career.
