Luxity, a growing company based in Sandton, Johannesburg, is looking for a creative and driven Content Creator to join their marketing team. As the company expands beyond digital marketing, they want someone who can help build a strong in-house marketing presence and create engaging content for their luxury brand. This is a permanent position starting as soon as possible, with a focus on shaping how South Africa experiences luxury online through social media and other platforms.

As the Content Creator, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and managing all content across social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. You will develop engaging content that aligns with Luxity’s luxury brand, including photos, videos, Reels, and TikToks, while staying up to date with the latest trends. Your role will also involve building and engaging with the Luxity community through polls, Q&As, and comments to keep the audience connected and excited.

You will work closely with the Head of Marketing to develop creative strategies and campaigns, bringing ideas from concept to execution. This includes writing captions, editing videos, designing graphics, and ensuring all content is polished and on brand. Additionally, you will support broader marketing efforts, such as scheduling content, tracking analytics, and assisting with email marketing and research.

Luxity is looking for someone who is both creative and detail-oriented, with a strong eye for aesthetics and storytelling. You should be comfortable creating professional-quality content using just a smartphone and have experience with video editing tools. Knowledge of design software like Canva or Adobe is a plus, as is an understanding of branding and visual identity.

You need to be up-to-date with social media trends, especially on TikTok and Instagram Reels, and know what type of content performs well. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be writing copy and adapting your tone to match Luxity’s brand voice. Organization and reliability are key—you should be able to manage tasks efficiently, meet deadlines, and take initiative in your work.

This role offers a monthly salary of R15,000, along with creative freedom to pitch and produce your own ideas. You will work directly with the Head of Marketing and experienced team members, receiving mentorship and growth opportunities. The position is based in Sandton City Towers, a prime location in Johannesburg’s business and fashion hub.
