Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for a casual cashier to work at their Cape Gate store in Cape Town, Western Cape. This is a fixed-term contract position. The role involves handling customer transactions, processing payments (cash, cards, vouchers, loyalty cards), managing the cash drawer, and assisting with customer inquiries. Applicants must have completed Grade 12 or Matric, have at least 6 months of cashier experience, be computer literate, and possess strong math and English skills. Retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, apply. A third language is advantageous. Reliability, honesty, and a clean criminal/credit record are required. South African citizenship is mandatory.
