Building Department Supervisor

This job is for a Building Department Supervisor at Brights Hardware in Stonewood, Western Cape. You will manage daily operations, ensure sales targets are met, and maintain high customer service standards. Key tasks involve following SOPs, organizing staff uniforms, conducting departmental sales meetings, and ensuring cleanliness and organization of the department. You will track stock and sales, update prices, monitor returns, and maintain stock control records. Weekly and monthly reports will be prepared for management. Staff scheduling, leave requests, and performance reviews are part of the role. Training new and existing staff on product knowledge and company procedures is also required. Experience in stock receiving, transfers, and returns handling is essential. Weekly staff targets will be set, and tasks must be completed on time while keeping the team motivated. Enforcement of company rules and handling disciplinary matters may be necessary. Additional duties include participating in stock counts and maintaining a tidy workspace.
