We are looking for a friendly and professional Barista and Waiter to work at Faircape Restaurant and Catering in Noordhoek, Cape Town. Faircape is part of the Faircape Life retirement villages group, which runs dining services for residents and patients in healthcare centers. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality coffee drinks, serving food, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service. Key responsibilities include operating coffee machines, setting tables, handling customer requests, and assisting with stock checks. Basic wine knowledge and serving etiquette are advantageous. The ideal candidate has experience in hospitality, strong barista skills, and a professional demeanor. A clean health, criminal, and credit record is required, along with references. Faircape offers a competitive salary, Sunday pay at 1.5x rate, double pay for public holidays, quarterly bonuses, and benefits like long service leave and internet discounts after probation. The role is full-time with a set schedule (7 AM - 7 PM, Monday to Sunday).
