What the job is

This is a role for an AV and Microsoft Teams Rooms Support Engineer at Vision-Tech, a UK-based company specializing in audio-visual solutions. What you will do

You will provide remote technical support for high-end meeting room and collaboration systems across the UK. Your tasks will include diagnosing and fixing issues with Microsoft Teams Rooms, AV systems, and related hardware and software. You will work closely with customers, field engineers, and project teams to solve problems quickly and ensure a smooth experience. You will also document issues, create troubleshooting guides, and help improve support processes. Additionally, you will monitor devices remotely, deploy updates, and assist with setting up new support contracts.

What you need

You should have strong experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms systems like Lenovo ThinkSmart, HP Poly, Neat, and Logitech. Knowledge of troubleshooting Teams Room accounts, peripherals, audio, camera, and scheduling issues is essential. Familiarity with management platforms like ThinkSmart Manager, Poly Lens, and Crestron XiO Cloud is required. You should also understand Microsoft 365 administration, networking principles, and professional AV systems such as Biamp DSP, Shure conferencing, and Crestron control systems. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are important.
