This is a full-time Accounting Assistant – Treasury position at Tharisa Minerals, a mining company based in Zimbabwe. The role supports the finance team during project work and operational phases, managing cash, banking activities, and financial compliance with Zimbabwe’s banking and exchange control rules. Key responsibilities include processing payments, handling exchange control applications, maintaining detailed records, reconciling bank accounts, managing petty cash, and assisting with treasury reporting. The role also involves supporting audits, improving treasury procedures, and adhering to company policies and statutory requirements. Qualifications include a degree in Accounting/Finance, professional qualifications (ICAZ, ACCA, CIMA), and 3+ years of accounting experience with treasury exposure. Experience in mining or multi-currency banking is preferred. Strong Excel skills and integrity are essential.
