What the job is

A well-known renewable energy company in Pretoria, Gauteng, is hiring a Warehouse Manager to lead their warehouse operations. This is a permanent position where you will manage stock, inventory, and a team to ensure smooth and secure warehouse functions. The role is based in Pretoria and focuses on supporting the company’s supply chain and manufacturing needs.

What you will do

You will oversee physical stock counts and keep accurate inventory records. You will receive stock, process goods received notes on the inventory system, and issue stock against job cards. You will handle inter-branch transfers, stock returns, and record serial numbers for equipment like panels, batteries, and inverters. You will ensure stock is picked, packed, and issued correctly for daily operations. You will also maintain a clean, organized, and secure storeroom, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies. Additionally, you will plan warehouse activities, optimize layout, and resolve stock discrepancies.

What you need

You must have a Matric certificate and a valid forklift license with practical experience. You need at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a warehouse or stores supervisory role. Experience with inventory management systems, especially Fenya, is a plus. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required. You should be detail-oriented, computer literate, and able to work under pressure while meeting deadlines. Good communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach are also essential.
