Managed People Solutions is offering an internship opportunity for young, unemployed TVET students who have completed their N6 Certificate and need workplace experience to qualify for their N6 Diploma. This program is specifically for people living in Cape Town, Western Cape. The role is designed to help you gain real work experience, learn from professionals, and improve your chances of getting a permanent job after completing your studies.

As a Junior Merchandiser intern, your main tasks will include checking and organizing products in stores. You will be responsible for deciding which stock needs to be displayed, ensuring products are in good condition, and making sure price tags are correct. You will also follow a set schedule to update product displays as needed. Part of your job will involve listening to customer complaints or questions and reporting back to your supervisor. You will need to keep track of all merchandising activities and record them properly. Additionally, you will make phone calls to stores as part of your daily tasks and help identify products that are running out of stock so the right people can restock them.

To apply for this internship, you must be under 28 years old and have completed your N6 TVET Certificate in one of these fields: Management Assistant, Business Management, or Marketing Management. Since this is an internship, you do not need prior work experience, but you should be eager to learn and work hard. You must also be available to work in Cape Town for the full 18-month program.

This internship pays a monthly stipend of R3,500. You will gain valuable work experience in a real job setting, which will help you build your skills and make you more employable after completing the program. The program lasts for 18 months, giving you plenty of time to learn and grow in your role.
