Temporary Works Engineer / Site Representative

A well-known consulting engineering company is looking for a Temporary Works Engineer or Site Representative to work on a bridge project in Lusikisiki, Eastern Cape. This is a permanent position with an initial contract of 12 to 24 months. The role involves supporting the design and construction of temporary structures needed during the bridge project.

**Responsibilities:** - Oversee temporary works (scaffolding, formwork, supports) for bridge construction - Ensure compliance with safety and project standards - Collaborate with contractors and engineers - Review plans, inspect site conditions, and resolve technical challenges

**Requirements:** - Degree in Civil Engineering (BSc, BEng, BTech, or BEngTech) - ECSA registration (Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng) - Minimum 5 years post-registration experience - Bridge design/construction supervision background - Strong communication and problem-solving skills
