What the job is

This is a temporary job for a Temporary ERP Support Assistant at ZCCM Investment Holdings Plc in Zambia. The role is part of a six-month project to support the company’s Finance team during the transition to a new ERP Finance system. You will work at the head office and subsidiaries to help users adapt to the new system.

What you will do

You will provide direct support to Finance users while they test and use the new ERP Finance system alongside the old one. You will help users process transactions, navigate the system, and answer routine questions. You will check data accuracy, compare outputs between the old and new systems, and track any issues or errors. You will log problems, classify them, and escalate them to the ERP Project Team for resolution. You will also help create user guides, FAQs, and quick reference materials to assist users. Additionally, you will support training sessions, user clinics, and change management activities. You will prepare daily or weekly reports summarizing issues, solutions, and any risks to user adoption.

What you need

You must have a degree in Accounting and Finance or a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ZICA. You need at least three years of professional experience in finance. You should have a basic understanding of finance processes like general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, budgeting, fixed assets, or financial reporting. Experience with ERP, accounting, or business systems is a plus. Strong computer skills, good communication, attention to detail, and the ability to support users patiently and professionally are required.
