Technical Sales Person for Water Pumps

What you will do - Handle sales from start to finish for water pumps and motors. - Understand pump details like head, flow, and friction loss. - Pick the right pumps and motors for farms, mines, homes, and cities. - Find other good products if the first choice is not available. - Answer customer questions and give the right solutions. - Make quotes that are correct and competitive. - Follow up on quotes to close sales. - Build good relationships with buyers, farmers, engineers, and other customers. - Explain technical details clearly to all types of customers.

What you need - At least 5 years of sales experience in the water pump industry. - Experience with commercial and industrial pumps in South Africa. - Good understanding of pump systems and how to read pump curves. - Ability to choose the right pumps and motors for different jobs. - Must speak Afrikaans and English well. - Strong sales skills and a history of meeting targets. - Friendly, hardworking, and self-motivated. - Must have a driver’s licence (Code 08) and your own reliable car. - It helps if you are registered with SABI or know the Cape Town pump market.
