We are looking for a Storekeeper to join the Empact Group team in Kuils River, Western Cape. This role involves managing stock, working with suppliers, and supervising the store team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store and catering services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Placing orders and working closely with suppliers to ensure stock is received correctly.
- Checking prices and quantities match order sheets and invoices.
- Issuing groceries and food products to different departments, including weighing food for production.
- Managing stock levels to stay within budget.
- Assisting with weekly and monthly stock checks.
- Keeping accurate records for health, safety, and environment (HSE).
- Supervising the storeroom, fridge, and freezer to ensure they are clean, locked, and organized.
- Checking incoming stock for quality and proper labeling.
- Receiving deliveries and ensuring everything is in order.
- Packing away remaining stock after each mealtime service.
- Conducting quality checks on all food products.
- Enforcing strict controls in the storeroom and fridge/freezer.
- Collaborating with the Project/Catering Manager and Catering Supervisors.

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience working in a logistics environment.
- Matric certificate required.
- Experience in hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience with Work Smart software or supervisory experience is an advantage.
- Computer literacy and comfort with numbers and calculations.
- Strong planning, organization, and time management skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently under pressure.
- Ability to delegate tasks effectively.
