What the job is: This job is for a Store Manager at PEP Home, a new store opening on Woodlands Boulevard in Gauteng. You will lead a team, ensure smooth store operations, meet sales targets, and control costs. The role is ideal for someone passionate about retail and creating a great customer experience.

What you will do: Increase sales through excellent customer service, maintain store cleanliness and organization, manage stock levels, run promotions, and ensure a welcoming shopping environment. Reduce stock loss and theft by fostering a positive work culture and adhering to security and cash-handling protocols. Control costs by optimizing store efficiency without overspending. Handle all store paperwork and ensure compliance with company policies, including payroll and inventory records. Train, coach, and support your team to maintain high performance standards and uphold health, safety, and cleanliness.

What you need: Completed Grade 12 (Matric) and fluency in English. A degree or diploma in business or retail is advantageous. Ideally, 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership role. Proficiency in computers and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools is required. Key qualities include passion for retail, honesty, dedication, strong communication, leadership, and the ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
