What the job is

This is a position for a Skin Therapist at Dermalogica South Africa, working at their Ballito Concept store in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. Dermalogica is a leading global skincare brand, and they are looking for passionate and driven professionals to join their team as brand ambassadors.

What you will do

You will perform skin treatments and follow Dermalogica standards for all procedures. You will be responsible for meeting monthly sales targets and tracking daily goals. You will conduct detailed skin consultations and Face Mapping for new clients, updating their records in the system after each visit. You will assist customers with retail purchases and follow up with them after sales or treatments to check on their results. You will also participate in store activities like meetings, workshops, inventory management, and sales promotions. Additionally, you will maintain a clean and professional treatment area, including stocking shelves and replenishing products.

What you need

You must have a Skin Care Qualification at NQF Level 4, which requires at least two years of full-time study. You should have at least two years of experience as a Skin Care Therapist, though this is an advantage. You need to be available to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends. You should have a strong passion for sales and a proven track record in retail. Confidence in engaging with customers and self-motivation are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required. Previous experience with Dermalogica is a plus.
