This job is for a skilled heavy equipment operator at Fraser Alexander (Pty) Ltd, based in the North West province. You will work in the mining industry, operating heavy machinery like front-end loaders, track loaders, excavators, articulated dump trucks, pipe trucks, graders, dozers, and water trucks. Responsibilities include digging trenches, cleaning spills, connecting pipes, building containment walls, and maintaining access roads. You must follow all safety rules and company procedures. Pre-shift inspections, equipment maintenance, and minor repairs are part of the role. Qualifications: Grade 12 (Matric) with a valid MQA-accredited license for at least one machine (e.g., front-end loader, excavator, or grader). Minimum 2-3 years of experience in earthmoving or mining. Additional requirements: Code 10 driver’s license, criminal screening clearance, and physical fitness. This is a contract position with rotating shifts and occasional overtime. Training and support provided.
