Shift Millwright in Tulbagh

A beverage manufacturing company in Tulbagh, Western Cape, is looking for a Shift Millwright. This person will keep machines running smoothly in the factory.

What the job is You will fix and maintain machines used to make drinks. You will work shifts, including weekends and holidays. The job is hands-on and fast-paced.

What you will do - Fix and service machines that make, bottle, and package drinks. - Find and repair problems with electrical, mechanical, air, and water systems. - Work on computer-controlled machines (PLCs) and other automation tools. - Install new machines and improve existing ones. - Help take apart and rebuild machines during planned stops. - Figure out why machines break and stop it from happening again. - Follow safety and quality rules at all times. - Train and help junior workers. - Keep records of all maintenance work.

What you need - A Millwright qualification with a Red Seal certificate. - At least 5 to 8 years of experience fixing machines in a factory, especially in food or drink production. - Experience fixing computer-controlled machines (PLCs). - Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, air, and water systems. - Willing to work shifts, weekends, and holidays. - Able to work in a busy, physical environment.

What you will get - A salary between R360,000 and R480,000 per year.
