This job is for a Senior Site Agent in civil construction. A well-known company in Johannesburg, Gauteng, is looking for someone experienced to lead and manage their construction projects. The role involves overseeing civil construction work to ensure it is done safely, on time, and to the required standards. Responsibilities include managing and supervising all civil construction activities on-site, coordinating with the site team, subcontractors, and stakeholders, monitoring progress, managing resources, controlling project costs, ensuring health and safety compliance, and maintaining detailed records. The ideal candidate must live in Johannesburg, hold a valid driver’s license, and possess a qualification like a BSc, BTech, or National Diploma in Civil Engineering, with professional registration (ECSA or SACPCMP). At least 10 years of experience in civil construction, including roads, stormwater drainage, sewer and water reticulation, and bulk earthworks, is required, along with proficiency in BuildSmart and CCS software.
