This job is for a Senior Superintendent in Open Pit Mine Planning at Kamoa Copper, a large copper mining project in Kolwezi, Democratic Republic of Congo. The role involves leading the entire open-pit mine planning process, including Life of Mine (LOM) plans, annual/monthly/weekly production schedules, blasting design, equipment management, and environmental restoration. The candidate must have 15+ years of mining experience, with 10+ years in open-pit mine planning and 5+ years in senior technical services. A Bachelor’s Degree in Mining/Geological Engineering is required, with advanced software skills (Deswik, Whittle, Vulcan, etc.). Fluency in English is mandatory; French is advantageous. This is a 24-month contract position based in Kolwezi, DRC.
