What the job is
This is a full-time job for a Senior Bookkeeper at Pedros in Newlands East, KwaZulu-Natal. You will work in the finance team at the head office. The job is permanent.

What you will do
- Prepare and check financial reports.
- Keep track of company assets and inventory.
- Review payments and money owed to the company.
- Make sure taxes and other rules are followed.
- Help with audits and complete financial statements.
- Manage budgets and check for differences.
- Set up and follow company rules and procedures.
- Work with the operations team.
- Pay close attention to details and work accurately.
- Manage your time well and solve problems.
- Present information clearly in writing and speaking.

What you need
- A finance or accounting qualification from a university or college.
- Good computer skills, especially in MS Office.
- At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, including preparing monthly accounts.
- Knowledge of accounting and hands-on experience.
- Experience using Sage 50, Sage 200, or similar software.
- Experience in fast food, retail, or similar industries is a plus.
- Good communication skills for all levels of the company.
- Strong attention to detail and a good track record.
