What the job is

This is a Senior Advisor Materials Management position at Eskom, a leading company in the electricity, energy, and water supply industry. The job is based at Arnot Power Station in Mpumalanga. As a Senior Advisor, you will play a key role in guiding and improving materials management processes within the company.

What you will do

You will mentor, coach, and advise teams on materials management and supply chain operations. Your responsibilities include leading the function, advising business units on warehousing processes, and consulting with stakeholders to ensure materials management needs are met. You will also evaluate and coordinate supply chain-related projects to optimize performance.

What you need

To qualify, you need a Bachelor’s Degree, B Tech, Advanced Diploma, or National Higher Diploma in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Logistics (NQF Level 7 with 360 credits). You must have at least 5 years of experience in supply chain operations. Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills are essential. Knowledge of safety regulations, legal policies, SAP ERP systems, and financial management is also required.
