This is a full-time Security Manager position at CBRE Excellerate, a leading company in commercial real estate services and investments. Based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, this role focuses on managing security operations across Africa and the Middle East. Responsibilities:
- Create, implement, and manage all security programs, including physical and electronic security, and risk management.
- Protect people, assets, information, facilities, and operations while following corporate security standards and legal requirements.
- Manage day-to-day security operations, ensuring security systems like CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection work properly.
- Conduct regular security risk assessments and develop plans to address any weaknesses.
- Oversee guarding services, manage security vendors, and ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
- Lead investigations into security incidents and prepare detailed reports.
- Manage security budgets, coordinate with law enforcement, and develop training programs.

Requirements:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in security management.
- Background in managing physical security systems like CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection.
- Experience conducting security risk assessments and managing security vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Business Management, or a related field.
- Professional security certifications (e.g., CPP) are preferred.
