What the job is: This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and motivated person to join Managed People Solutions as a Sales and Merchandising Assistant Intern in Pietermaritzburg. What you will do: As a Sales and Merchandising Assistant, you will travel with sales representatives on their daily routes to observe and assist with sales activities. Your tasks will include helping to meet sales targets by supporting the team in various ways. You will also be responsible for making sure products are displayed neatly and attractively on shelves and in-store promotions. This includes restocking items, organizing displays, and ensuring everything looks inviting to customers. Another key part of your role is assisting customers, answering their questions, and building positive relationships with them. You will learn how to handle promotions, manage inventory, and work as part of a team to achieve sales and merchandising goals.

What you need: To be considered for this internship, you should have a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be interacting with customers and team members regularly. A positive attitude, honesty, and a strong sense of responsibility will help you succeed in this role. You should be willing to learn, take initiative, and work well as part of a team.
